Planting bulbs and smashing ice were just two of the different outside activities the children enjoyed this week.

Practicing their fine motor skills by matching the coloured spots to the pipe cleaners and pushing them into the cardboard helped children develop colour recognition as well. Mathematical skills, exploring length and problem solving skills were needed as they developed and made their own patterns.

At circle time the children played Kim’s game – a simple memory game trying to guess the missing object.
