Dog poo fairy

Whatever some people may believe, there’s no such thing as the dog poo fairy. Tired of dodging dog poo on our visits to the allotments and park we decided to make signs and left them at all of the regular places dog poo is found.

This week we delivered the start of our supervised toothbrushing sessions. Big Brush Club is a supervised toothbrushing scheme funded by the NHS, to promote oral health. The children were very eager to join in.

Building towers and watching them fall is a favourite for the children at the moment, so we added wooden figures to make a domino effect. Using a different technique to make marks the children used hammers to pop bubble wrap to squash the paint underneath. Pushing pipe cleaners into coloured holes, splashing water and ducks, loose parts playdough, and cars and garage were just some other activities.
