Parachute games

Playing parachute games proved to be a favourite activity this week. Working together to move the parachute is a great way to develop gross motor skills.

The children were fascinated with the slow worm we found in the garden. They used tape measures and rulers to see how long it was and some children gently touched it.

At the allotments Marj had lots of help to plant vegetables. Hopefully we will see a good crop of courgettes, tomatoes, lettuce and sweetcorn.

Work is still in progress to paint the banner for the Jubilee. We have nearly finished it!

After an unannounced visit from the Food Standard Agency, I am pleased to say our Food Hygiene Rating remains at 5 (very good).
